A peel consists of an acid, or group of acids, that work together to help remove the outermost layers of the Stratum Corneum (layers of dull, dead skin) from our face. Duo is a 64 acid peel with a 3.0pH that includes Mandelic – Glycolic – Lactic – Salicylic – Citric – Phytic Acids.A peel removes the outermost layers of dull, dead skin by dissolving the sticky bond that holds the excess layers. A few days after a peel has been performed, the loosened layers will be able to be removed.
